Safe and Sound Protocol (SSP)

I am certified in the Safe and Sound Protocol (SSP), a music listening-based program designed to support regulation of the nervous system. SSP uses specially filtered music to help calm the body, increase emotional resilience, and create greater capacity for connection and healing.

Why SSP Helps

In today’s world, it can be hard to access a steady sense of relative safety. Many of us are living with the effects of not only personal stress, chronic illness or trauma, but also the weight of socio-political stress and systemic harm. These experiences can leave the nervous system feeling activated and on edge or shut down and disconnected even in moments when we want to feel safer or connected. SSP, grounded in polyvagal theory, offers gentle support by helping the body and mind experience moments of relative safety and connection.

While SSP is not a “fix” for systemic issues, it can be a supportive tool that helps people navigate these difficult realities with more capacity, resilience, grounding.

How I Use SSP

• Included for ongoing clients: SSP is available at no additional cost to my ongoing therapy clients.

• Integrated into treatment: I use SSP as part of resourcing in EMDR, as a nervous system tool in OCD work, and as an additional support in therapy.

• Standalone access: If you are interested in working with SSP outside of ongoing therapy, I also offer a three-month SSP access program.

Make it stand out.

It all begins with an idea. Maybe you want to launch a business. Maybe you want to turn a hobby into something more. Or maybe you have a creative project to share with the world. Whatever it is, the way you tell your story online can make all the difference.
